Production Evaluation

1. What do you feel is the most important area of learning that you have taken from this assignment? Look at all the production stages and ask your self which areas of this assignment have given you a new way of thinking or approaching you future projects.

The most important are of learning i have taken from this assignment is the filming it has tauhgt me to always use a tripod. I have also learned how to edit properly and how to use al the effects and sounds in the right places.

2.From your finished project what parts are you most happy with? With the same level of consideration what areas do you feel you need to improve on?

I was very happy with editing such as the sounds effects and transitions but I was not happy with the quality of the filming and this was because I did not use a tripod but I have learned from this mistake and will now always use a tripod when needed.

3. How well do you think you and your group worked in achieving all the goals that were set by the assignment brief?

My group did not work very well together because one of our group did not show up to all the lessons and for this my group suffered because our team was short

4. What would you change or do differently in the next production?

I will do quite a lot differantly in the next production like use a tripod an also I will do a lot better planning because I believe that planning is very important because then you know exactly what to do every lesson.

5. How does your trailer fit with the look and style of a real example that you looked at in research, think about how your trailer looks and how it's edited

The trailer does fit with the look and the style because it was suitably for the project and the purpose.

Evaluating My Contribution to production

My contribution to production was tough for me because it envolves acting and I am not the best at acting. However I believe I directed the scene well and made the props to good use and has some good ideas about filming. I regret not using a tri pod outside because it wasent still however I have now learned from this mistake and in future filming when needed I will always use a tripod.

Evaluating my contribution to pre production

Planning is vital in all production. It helps you know what you need to do step by step when producing.

- Storyboard - Very Usefull

-Treatment - Not very Usefull

-Discussions - Usefull

-Documents - Usefull

The most valuable method of pre production I believe was the storyboard because it is pictures instead of words and documents this is useful because it helps you visulise what you want the video to look like.
